[Not equal]: In April 2016, Javier A. Arroyo-Figueroa showed that P is not equal to NP. Arroyo-Figueroa establishes the existence of a certain class of one-way functions that are (i) computable in polynomial time and (ii) with negligible probability of finding its inverse by any polynomial probabilistic algorithm. This is accomplished by constructing each member in T with a collection of independent universal hash functions that produce a starting coordinate and a path within a sequence of unique random bit matrices.
